The Utility Manager Evolution in the Energy Revolution

3:45-4:45pm

The energy landscape has evolved over the decades. Today, energy, utility and facility managers stand over a widening divide between traditional energy management and advanced resource management. This session will invite panelists to discuss how evolving technologies and growing expectations shape the way they buy, use and track their limited resources.

The moderator will facilitate a discussion on the procurement strategies behind traditional commodities, such as electricity and natural gas, but also the increasing momentum to better manage and measure waste and water as part of a comprehensive utilities program. The role data plays will also be a central topic of discussion as the key enabler of not only strategic procurement but also budget development and allocation, sustainability reporting and efficiency project decision-making.
